Water Testing
Check your well water for contamination

Water Testing

Over 15 million U.S. households obtain their drinking water from private wells , which are not covered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations that protect public drinking water systems.

Owners of private wells are responsible for ensuring that their water is safe from contaminants. Private wells should be checked every year for mechanical problems, cleanliness, and the presence of coliform bacteria, E-coli, and any other contaminants of local concern. At RLM & Associates, LLC , we can include water testing as part of your normal home inspection or as a separate test procedure.

Improperly used or defective septic systems can be a significant source of ground water contamination that can lead to waterborne disease outbreaks and other adverse health effects.

All samples are sent to an independent testing lab for analysis. A separate report on the samples collected is generated by the lab.
